This is my word cloud about Mars.
I hope you enjoy it
In Week 5 of Term 2 our class focussed on how to write great information reports.
We wrote about the planet Mars as we are in the middle of learning about Planet Earth and Beyond. Learning how to write a geat information report will help us with our self-guided topics in a few weeks time.
Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.
Mars has two moons, Phobos and Deimos. They are shaped like lumpy potatoes. Mars’ moons are very cold and Mars is the only planet that has two moons. When Mars orbits the Sun, the moons go around the Sun too. They are much smaller than Earth’s moon. Phobos is 22.2 kilometers and 13.8 metres wide while Deimos is just 12.6 kilometers and 7.8 meters wide. Now I have learned that Mars has two moons. If you want to know where I got this information from you can go on this link.

Kia ora Sene,
ReplyDeleteI can see you've used some of the shared writing we did this week. Let's work together while Miss Kim is in class this week.
In terms of your writing, keep working on writing your ideas down quickly.
